On the eve of its first quarter earnings call, Raleigh open source giant Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) discloses it’s acquiring French cloud firm eNovance.
eNovance has 110 employees and specializes in OpenStack, particularly Ceph, now a Red Hat technology via the $175 million InkTank deal.
Its customers include Alcatel Lucent and Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO). The plan, according to a statement from Red Hat, is to integrate eNovance’s products with Red Hat technology.
